Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Premium subscribers. If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your initial payment, contact us for a full refund β no questions asked.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through OrientalMuse (βweβ, βusβ, βourβ). Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to both these terms and Paddleβs own terms of service.
Where applicable law grants you additional refund rights (e.g. EU consumer cooling-off periods), those rights are not diminished by this policy.
2. Money-Back Guarantee
New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of their first successful payment. This guarantee applies once per customer account and covers only the first billing cycle of a new subscription.
- The guarantee covers both monthly and annual plans.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- After a refund is processed, your Premium access will be revoked.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email billing@orientalmuse.com from the address associated with your account.
- Include the subject line: Refund Request β [your email].
- Provide your order or transaction ID (available in the confirmation email from Paddle).
We aim to respond within 1 business day and will initiate the refund upon verification.
4. Processing Timeline
Once approved, refunds are submitted to Paddle immediately. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer:
- Credit / debit cards: 5β10 business days
- PayPal: 3β5 business days
- Other methods: up to 14 business days
We cannot speed up this process once the refund has been submitted to Paddle.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.
- Renewal charges after the 7-day guarantee window has passed.
- Partial months or unused days remaining in a billing period upon cancellation.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
- Any add-ons or one-time purchases (if introduced in the future).
6. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period β you retain Premium access until that date.
Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. If you are within the 7-day guarantee window, you must also submit a refund request as described in Section 3.
7. Disputes & Chargebacks
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at billing@orientalmuse.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We can usually resolve billing issues faster than the chargeback process.
Initiating a chargeback while a refund request is being processed may delay the resolution. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended pending investigation.
